Access Engineering successfully completed a series of university mentoring programs intending to modernize the learning experience of Sri Lankan University Students through accreditation of soft skills. “Skills for Life” ; the mentoring program was undertaken under the platform of Human Capacity Building which is one of the key focus areas of Access Engineering’s corporate social responsibility policy.
The program which is composed of diverse activities such as lecturing, in-the-field activities, debates discussions…etc, was focused towards developing the soft skills, ethics and etiquette that are requisite in today’s corporate world and in the students’ day to day lives. Access Engineering which initiated the said mentoring program from the University of Moratuwa, successfully completed two other subsequent programs at the University of Peradeniya and at the University of Ruhuna. The program was also awarded as the Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Program 2013 under the category of Training and Education by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
